On Sunday 28th November, the Hurricanes had their first home game of the season when the welcomed the University of East Anglia Pirates. They have already played the Pirates this season away in Norwich 3 weeks ago & beat them 47 - 12.

The weather was dry, sunny but very cold. This gave somewhat harsh lighting on the game until the light faded & the floodlights came on for the second half. The hurricanes ran out winners shutting out the Pirates 50 to nil.
