Sunday June 4th saw me driving down to Finsbury Park to shoot the Premier Division London Blitz take on the Sollerod Gold Diggers from Denmark in the semi final of the EFAF European Championship.
A beautifully sunny day saw some nice conditions for action photography, even if the pitch was a little like a dustbowl during tackles.
The first drive from the Gold Diggers saw them scoring & one could have been forgiven for thinking the Blitz were on a promise of a drubbing. This seemed to wake them up & they didn't let that happen again, rolling out with 23 - 7 victory. The Blitz now advance to the European final, time will reveal in which country the final will take place.
All shots taken on the Canon 1D MkIV with Canon 600mm F4 & Canon 5D MkII with Canon 70-200L f2.8.
