Watford really needed a victory if they wanted to keep their playoff hopes alive. Going from first in the division to fourth in the space of two games has not made it easy for them.

Going into the game at Watford, the Spartans were undefeated. Watford played the game without the kind of mistakes that cost them dearly in the previous two matches. Despites the Spartans hitting the scoreboard first, Watford managed to hold the Spartans offence while racking up a winning score of 19 - 6. With the top four teams in Division Two East on five wins so far, it's everything to play for in the remaining fixtures.
