The Hurricanes' second game of 2011 saw them welcome the Essex Blades to their Hatfield home. The Hurricanes were looking to make it 6 and 0 as they head for the playoffs.

The Blades went down 28 - 0 in their last matchup and were not able to improve on that score, eventually losing the game 41 - 0.
