The BUAFL 2010/11 season has reached its culmination with the playoffs.

The Hurricanes got a bye in the first round, as they were ranked no. 1 in the country. Their first foray into the knockout stage came on the 27th March on a warm afternoon at Hatfield when they welcomed the Bristol Barracuda in the quarter finals.

It was their toughest match so far this season & half time saw the teams level at 14 - 14 with two converted TDs each. In the second half the Hurricanes drew ahead & eventually won the game 28 - 14.

They take on the current BUAFL champions at Hatfield next week in an attempt to stop the Lions winning 3 championships on the trot.
