The Hurricanes, being ranked number one in the country, got home field advantage for their semi-final draw against the Loughborough Aces.

This woud be the toughest game of the season, and the lowest scoring for the Hurricanes who have been more used to scores in excess of 50 points a game.

At half time the score remained at a record low of 3 - 0 in the Hurricanes' favour. The 'canes were able to move the game along and ended up 24 - 13 to advance to the finals in Leeds on April 21st.
