Bedfordshire Blue Raiders are quickly becoming my second-favoured summer team after my third visit to Bedford this season.

This time they were taking on the Colchester Gladiators. The Blue Raiders lost 49-20 when they visited Essex in May, so were hoping for an improved score.

The game was pretty evenly matched throughout, marred by simple mistakes and the most fumbles I've seen in a game to date, the Blue Raiders could have easily come out victors. However, the Gladiators managed to score late in the game and Bedfordshire were unable to get any points on the scoreboard. Final score 7 - 0 to the Gladiators.
