So the 2013 British American Football Association Community League season has arrived.

I popped up to Bedford International Athletics Stadium to shoot my old friends, the Bedfordshire Blue Raiders in the opening game of the new season. They welcomed the Essex Spartans.

I guess with the bedding-in of new players and the first game nerves, as well as the getting used to all the new plays learnt in the offseason, it made for a rather uneventful game. The Blue Raiders ran out 6 - 0 winners after recovering a blocked punt.
