At last the 2012/13 BUAFL Season is here.

This weekend saw the Hertfordshire Hurricanes begin their campaign for another National Championship, with an away game at Colchester, against the Essex Blades.

Actually, last weekend should have been the first game, but their game against the LSBU was postponed.

The weather was exceptional for November, bright and sunny. Unfortunately, the Hurricanes'away kit is white. Not the best colour for photography, especially when combined with bright, harsh sunlight.

The Hurricanes have lots of new squad members this year, quite a few of whom appear to have some great potential. This was evidenced in the fact that all TD scorers today, apart from one, were rookies.

The Hurricanes got off to a great start with a 53 - 0 victory over the Blades.
