So the Hurricanes got a bye in the first round of the BUAFL palyoffs. Being ranked number one in the country, they gained home field advantage for the playoffs.

Their quarter-final match was against the Sheffield Sabres at Hatfield. Having dominated their division throughout the season, it would be interesting to see how the Hurricanes fared against the cream of the other divisions.

The Hurricanes triumphed, again, scoring 37 points against the Sabres 7, taking them to a semi-final match against the Bath Killer Bees.
